When installing a beetle or type 3 transmission into a 55-67 bus, these are needed to connect the ebrake cables to the rear brakes.
For a ‘64 to ‘67 bus, use stock cables with these adapters for a perfect fit!
On a Later ‘60 to ‘63 bus, use ‘64-’67 bus cables with these adapters for a perfect fit!
For a ‘56 to early year production ‘60 bus,
use a Late ‘60-’63 or ‘64-’67 complete E-brake lever assembly with ’64-’67 bus cables and these adapters. Or you can also just cut and shorten ‘64-‘67 cables to fit! **length may vary**
